Koramic builds reputation in housebuilder sector
Pentland Homes selected the Koramic tiles as it required a natural-looking product that would match the local vernacular.
Martin Hart, managing director of Pentland Homes said: “It was vital that we used a clay roof tile that would blend well with the traditional colours seen in Kent architecture. We required a mix of tiles that would work together to give a natural, yet unique appearance.
“The Koramic clay roof tiles have resulted in natural looking roofs that importantly, blend with the local environment and give these very unusual properties, a traditional edge. The subtle variety of shades and tones offered by the 301 clay plain tiles, has allowed us to effectively mix the products on each roof to ensure each house has an individual look.”
Koramic’s 301 smooth plain clay roof tiles are used for both modern and traditional architecture. The tile is available in four different shades. For this project, Pentland Homes selected the Rustic, Toscana and Amarant shades. Every tile is slightly different to give properties their own character and unique appearance.
