Stephanie Palmer, Head of Sustainability (Chair)
Tuesday 27^th of June 9:30 -10.15
Housing, transport, energy and infrastructure must work in harmony to enable interconnected places that are environmentally sustainable, healthy and accessible. How is the wider built environment decarbonising at scale and what can we learn from each other? How is overheating, air pollution and nature decline being tackled in our towns and cities? How are communities involved in delivering greener and healthier places where people want to live, work, socialise and study?

"Delivering carbon-neutral new builds at scale"
Gonzalo Bunse, Director of Category
Wednesday 28^th of June, 10.30-11.15
Despite the urgent need to build better now, homes are still being built that will need to be retrofitted to achieve zero carbon down the line. To save time, money, and the environment, housing providers should be delivering carbon-neutral new builds at pace and at scale, but how?

1. Implementing the Future Homes Standard and achieving compliance with Part L of the building regulations
2. How are housing providers calculating and eliminating embodied carbon?
3. What is the role of MMC in sustainable construction?
4. How do we remove barriers in the planning system?
