Wienerberger AG reported to CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) for the fourth time in 2025 and was again awarded a B rating (management band). The rating confirms that wienerberger is taking coordinated action on climate issues. wienerberger's disclosures on climate change are a response to the increasing demand for environmental transparency on the part of our investors, customers and political decision-makers.
CDP is a global non-profit organization that operates the world's largest platform for the disclosure of environmental and climate information. More than 20,000 companies around the world disclosed data through CDP in 2025. CDP is fully aligned with the TCFD framework and maintains the world’s largest repository of environmental data. Its scoring system is widely used by investors and procurement teams seeking to accelerate progress towards a net-zero, sustainable and earth-positive global economy.

Wienerberger Limited undertakes an annual self-assessment and has achieved a Gold membership.
The Supply Chain Sustainability School is a virtual learning platform with the aim to upskill those working within the built environment sector. Learning resources and assessments cover the three core pillars of sustainability (environmental, social and economic) and considers key issues ranging from carbon management through to modern slavery. A SSCS membership badge is not a certification or an endorsement of a company or its products or services, and it does not indicate that the company’s products or services are specifically sustainable or more sustainable than another company’s products or services.

Our Eco-brick won “best sustainability product” for its contribution to low-carbon, energy efficient housebuilding in the UK.
We were recognised by the Fortis Group for our quality products and collaborative relationship with Fortis partners. wienerberger previously won Brick Supplier of the Year in 2016 and 2017.
wienerberger’s novel heat recovery system at Warnham brickworks has been shortlisted by Edie. The awards will take place in October 2026.
Pipelife Ireland (wienerberger’s water and heating division in Ireland) was shortlisted by Guaranteed Irish in the Sustainability category, demonstrating our support for jobs and communities in Ireland.
Our biodiversity strategy called Let’s build with nature in mind was shortlisted by Homes UK/Unlock Net Zero in 2024.
We worked with creative agency Emperor to develop and deploy the first phase of our sustainability strategy called “Let’s Build Beyond”. Our internal and external communications campaign was shortlisted by the IoIC in 2022.
