Join the wienerberger engineering apprenticeship programme 2026: multiple sites across UK

We are excited to announce that applications for the wienerberger Engineering Apprentice Programme 2026 is now open.

At wienerberger, we are committed to developing future talents and supporting long‑term professional growth. This year, we are recruiting multi‑skilled engineering apprentices across the following sites in the UK:

1) Denton

2) Ewhurst

3) Goxhill

4) Kingsbury

5) Sandtoft

6) Smeed Dean

7) Warnham

Year 1: 

Apprentices will be based at the training provider site on a full-time basis, where they will learn the basics of engineering. 

Years 2 – 4: 

Apprentices will undertake a mixture of learning at their training provider, at our Centre of Excellence (residential Monday to Friday) and other sites. They will meet and train with key equipment and robotics suppliers and undertake practical learning. This approach enables them to build key relationships and learn from our experienced employees.

In addition to the apprenticeship, apprentices will also gain several vocational and academic qualifications which are fully funded. We also provide support to apprentices who want to continue their professional development after their apprenticeship.

Minimum requirement 

GSCE Maths and English Grade 5 or above (equivalent to old grading C+).

Please note that, if apprentice is referred by a wienerberger employee, they would need to state the name of the employee on their application.
