Maincor, a part of wienerberger UK and Ireland, has partnered with Austrian manufacturer Austroflex to offer Austro PUR and Austro PEX pre-insulated pipes in the UK, including both heating and sanitary water pipe solutions.
Available in single or twin internal pipe configurations, pre-insulated pipes are designed to connect buildings to external renewable heat sources, such as heat pumps and biomass boilers. The design of the pipes offers extremely low heat loss, allowing sanitary water or heating water to maintain its temperature as it is transported to the building. This ensures a high level of energy efficiency, with the potential to save money for the end users.
