We are excited to announce that Emily Badger, Head of Sales at wienerberger UK & Ireland, will be taking part in this year’s SIG Roofing Tour de Roof, a charity bike ride inspired by a shared ambition to challenge herself while giving back to causes that truly matter.

The SIG Roofing Tour de Roof 2026 is scheduled to take place on 17–19 June 2026, with the riders covering 200 miles from Colchester to Dortmund. For Emily, the purpose behind her participation hits close to home, she explains.

“As a mum who has also worked within the construction sector for most of my adult life, the incredible work these charities do is very close to home. Knowing that we can help make a diAerence makes it all worthwhile.

The funds raised for the charity ride will be split between two fantastic charities: PASIC, who supports families when a child is diagnosed with cancer, and Band of Builders, who support members of the UK construction industry when they are faced with life-changing circumstances.”

With all the training leading up to the event, preparations are ongoing, and the motivation is building, driven by purpose, resilience, and the impact every mile can make. Staying injury-free is Emily’s biggest focus, balancing intense training with protecting her body so she can make it to the start line and across the finish.

“I’m doing everything I can to look after my body and prevent any injuries. Rather than getting caught up in how many miles are still ahead of me, I’ll be focused on the feeling of reaching that 200th mile on the final day and letting everyone back home know that I did it!” - Emily Badger.

We are incredibly proud of Emily and will be cheering her on every mile of the way. Supporting challenges like this reflects what matters to us at wienerberger, which is backing our people and contributing to causes that make a meaningful di erence.
