Welcoming Back Some Familiar Faces

As employees around the country return to work and building merchants across the nation re-open their doors, our familiar faces from the Customer Support team are here to help you with your enquiries, orders and scheduling needs.

At a time where collaboration is more important than ever we recognise the reassurance a familiar voice at the end of the phone line brings. Several of our colleagues have enjoyed long and successful careers with the Customer Support team and doubtless the same goes for employees across our customer base. Over time strong working relationships are formed based on fostered trust and the knowledge your custom is in safe hands.

You’ve laughed with us, shared successes with us, … you might have vented some frustrations with us. So, to celebrate our relationship, some of our Support Team want to say ‘Hi’ and reassure you we are here to help you with your account as we navigate the journey to the new normal together. 

Jodie – Customer Support Team Leader

Wienerberger Head Office, 7 years. 

I am the Team Leader of the Specialist Products team, but I’ve worked on all the different teams within the Customer Support department. I enjoy the technical elements to the job, but I also like the fact that we get to deal with lots of different customers as our team deals with the most diverse range of products: façade, landscaping, special shaped bricks, glazed bricks and eco habitat options to name but a few. I can be talking to a customer about the difference between a nesting or a roosting box for birds or bats, then I’m explaining how our clay blocks are thermally efficient: I can’t predict what will come next

I enjoy socialising with friends and colleagues so naturally, I enjoy the social element to my job. Over the years I’ve been to the football with customers and to the races, feel free to quiz me on our calls, my sporting knowledge is second to none! 

Jade – Customer Support Advisor

Wienerberger Head Office, 2 years 

As well as my two years with Wienerberger, I have many years of customer service experience having worked on cruise ships since leaving college. I also work for an estate agency on Saturdays, which keeps me out of trouble on a Friday night!

I work on the Specialist Products Team, I predominately deal with landscaping solutions and can provide support on all manner of paving and paving accessory enquiries. I also work closely with the Brick Tile Company, a partner company offering brick slip solutions on residential projects. That said, I’m here to help on all range of special shaped brick, pre-fabricated and eco-habitat enquiries too!

I enjoy my job, it gives me variety and no two days are the same.

Tracy – Customer Support Advisor

Wienerberger Head Office, 13 years 

I first started working on Samples scheduling and worked my way up to a Customer Support Advisor a year or so later.  As part of the Customer Support Team, my role is to answer any telephone queries you have regarding bricks, orders, and scheduling needs. I also process the orders and check that they have all the correct information inputted on to the system. I have a good knowledge of bricks and I can answer most questions that are asked, if there is something that I don’t know, I will find out for you.

I’m currently working from home but I’m looking forward to returning to the hustle and bustle of the office soon.
